Do you want to try what flying feels like, get a flying license or if you are already a pilot, come and start flying in a lively non-profit flying club with both gliders, motor and seaplanes? The days you see Sweden from above are guaranteed to be your best days of the year, every day you decide to go fly! Motorized flying takes place all year round. Glider flying starts in March with mountain flying camps and continues at the airfield until October.

Go on a test flight

A test flight is fantastically fun and educational. You are welcome regardless of whether you intend to take a flight certificate or just want to try flying.

Visit Vängsö Airfield

Vängsö airfield is located in scenic Sörmland and we have been here since the 1930s. The field is open during the summer months and often well into the autumn. If you are a pilot do not forget PPR!

There are several different flight certificates you can take which can then be built on with differences training. We train in gliding, motor and sea flying.

About Östra Sörmlands Flygklubb

In the beautiful Sörmland region lies Vängsö airfield and we have been here since the 1930s. We consist of about 200 glider, motor and seaplane pilots, ground crew and club members. Together, we maintain the airfield, certification, skills training and everything related to club life.
